Synvisc-One 6ml

Synvisc-One is a gel-like injectable made of hyaluronan (sodium hyaluronate/hyaluronic acid), a naturally occurring substance found in the joints. This injectable acts as a lubricant to buffer the shock and pressure caused by movements in the joints. By improving joint function, a single Synvisc-One injection improves the symptoms of osteoarthritis – a common type of arthritis. The gel is stabilized through cross-linking to provide long-lasting results.

• Hylan polymers (Hylan A + Hylan B) 48 mg
• Sodium chloride 51 mg
• Disodium hydrogen phosphate 0.96 mg
• Sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate 0.24 mg
• Water for injection q.s. to 6.0 mL

Synvisc-One Contraindications

• Present infections in the joints 
• Skin diseases or infections in the injection area
• History of allergic reactions to hyaluronan
