The active biotechnology ingredient, Urban D-Tox, serves two functions: on the one hand, it forms a protective layer that prevents contaminating particulates from adhering to the skin, and on the other, it protects the skin from oxidative stress. The polysaccharide derived from plants also promotes the formation of molecules that strengthen the barrier function and prevent transepidermal water loss.
