This treatment is recommended for sunspots, age spots (senile lentigines), photosensitivity from medications or perfumes, and pregnancy-related spots. It is also a pre- and post-depigmentation treatment (lasers, peels, Kligman trio). AHA in the formula peels mildly. CYTOLNAT® KOJIC removes dead, melanin-rich skin cells. Skullcap and liquorice extracts with Kojic acid reduce melanin production. Avocado oil phytosterols prevent dryness and irritation. The sunscreen's high SPF (15) strengthens the cream's barrier and reduces spot recurrence.

It's also utilized before or after depigmenting procedures (lasers, peels, and the Kligman trio). The emulsion's rich formula contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which exfoliates the skin's surface by eliminating dead cells.
Another key element, Kojic acid, found in skullcap and licorice plant extracts, suppresses the synthesis of melanin, the protein responsible for colour.
